We are pleased to announce that Dr. Kate Lyons has been appointed Director for Mental Health, effective September 17, 2007.
Dr. Lyons, who currently serves as Vice-President of the Florida Council for Community Mental Health, has held numerous positions in the mental health field during her 23 year career, including Staff Psychologist at the State University of New York at Albany and Substance Abuse Coordinator/Psychologist at the University of Delaware.
Dr. Lyons holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the State University of New York at Binghampton, a Master’s degree in Experimental Psychology from Florida Atlantic University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Florida.
