Criminal Justice Mental Health and Substance Abuse Reinvestment Act Matching Grant Funding RESTORED!

Earlier today, the Senate agreed to take the House position on the Reinvestment Grant funding. This means they restored the $2 million in the DCF budget that was eliminated in the Senate’s original budget.

This $2 million is combined with $1 million in the Department of Corrections budget (it was not cut by either side) to bring the grant funding to a total of $3 million statewide.
